De, Amy, Lisa, and Judy are all members of Northwest Harmony Chorus. They started singing together last summer, June 2019, and decided to form a practicing quartet and they became Alchemy. They are planning to compete in the Region 13 competition as a novice quartet as two members have not competed on the regional stage. They are all very excited for this opportunity to compete in Spokane! Alchemy hopes to ring some magic into their chords that will create a pleasurable experience for the audience.
Northwest Harmony Chorus
The love of music and performing brought us together with a shared commitment to improvement, and the friendships, fun, and food keep us together!
Northwest Harmony is a women's chorus of dynamic ladies singing a capella 4-part harmony in the barbershop style - which is one of the truly American musical art forms! The chorus and its quartets perform throughout the year for private and public events; they also compete annually in a regional chorus competition which keeps them focused on refining their singing and performing skills.
Membership in Northwest Harmony provides friendships with other singers as well as a myriad of opportunities to learn and grow both personally and musically.
In light of the current situation, all rehearsals and NWH activities have been cancelled until the end of April.
We will review the situation in mid-April to determine if we need to extend that hiatus.
Thank you for your interest and please come visit us when we resume.
